Head of Lettings

Dublin

Established in 2008, Owen Reilly is an award-winning estate agency in the sale, rental, and management of prime real estate in Dublin. We are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced property professional for the role of Head of Lettings. You will provide an exceptional letting service, oversee all aspects of a busy department and manage an experienced team of letting agents to ensure they provide the best service to our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly ambitious individual. The role will be primarily based at our Docklands office, and flexibility will be required to our other Dublin branches. You will report directly to our Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee marketing of all letting properties.
  • Fully support the letting team.
  • Conduct rental valuations.
  • Work closely with the property management team.
  • Oversee viewings as required.
  • Provide daily support and guidance to all team members.
  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team to ensure best practice.
  • Ensure adequate cover in the department at all times.
  • Sign off on lease agreements and all legal documentation.
  • Provide ongoing training to team.
  • Ensure team comply with all legislation, regulation, and best practice.
  • Prepare weekly update reports and run data analysis on request.
  • Identify new business opportunities and look at ways to further enhance level of service provided.
  • Highly proficient in property software.
  • Carry out new business pitches.

Requirements:

  • Corporate appearance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a letting manager position or minimum 5 years’ experience in the property industry in a letting role.
  • Exceptional knowledge of sector and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to identify new business.
  • Full clean drivers licence required.
  • PSRA licence C is essential.

    Head of Property Management

    Dublin

    We are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced property professional for the role of Head of Property Management. You will provide an exceptional tenancy management function for a large portfolio of properties in Dublin’s best locations. You will oversee all aspects of a busy department and manage an experienced team of property managers to provide the best service to our clients.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly ambitious individual. The role will be primarily based at our Docklands office, and flexibility will be required to our other Dublin branches. You will report directly to our Managing Director.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide full tenancy management functions.
    • Manage a large portfolio of properties, monitor team workloads, and assign adequately.
    • Fully support the team.
    • Conduct pre and post property inspections as required.
    • Manage a full schedule of rent collections, renewals and rent reviews from all managed properties.
    • Assist in property management maintenance issues.
    • Provide daily support and guidance to team.
    • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team to ensure best practice.
    • Ensure adequate cover in the department at all times.
    • Provide guidance and full awareness of new legislation and ensure this is fully implemented.
    • Sign off on lease agreements and all legal documentation.
    • Coordinate management of out-of-hours emergencies.
    • Provide ongoing training to team.
    • Full management and recruit of external contractors.
    • Ensure team and contractors comply with all legislation, regulation, and best practice.
    • Prepare weekly update reports and run data analysis on request.
    • Liaise with the RTB on tenant disputes.
    • Identify new business opportunities and look at ways to further enhance level of service provided.
    • Highly proficient in property management software.
    • Carry out new business pitches.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management position.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the property industry in a tenant and property management role.

      Letting Negotiator

      Dublin

      We are seeking an experienced letting negotiator who will work across our branch network in Dublin city centre and suburbs on our high-quality portfolio. The agent will be a highly motivated individual, with at least two years’ experience working in a fast paced, busy lettings department.

      Requirements:

      • Proven track record within Dublin’s residential lettings market.
      • Have a good system in place to manage diary, emails, and appointments.
      • Ability to build rapport with clients and prospective tenants.
      • Hardworking and reliable.
      • Outstanding negotiation skills.
      • Immaculately presented.
      • Ability to win business.

      Working as part of a successful team, this role will involve:

      • Arranging and conducting viewings of all available properties.
      • Negotiating the best rent and terms for our clients.
      • Preparing properties for marketing, including descriptions and photos.
      • Issuing lease agreement and tenancy related paperwork.
      • Conducting handover of property to new tenants.
      • Day to day tasks as assigned by management.

       

      The successful person must possess the following:

      • Full PSRA C Licence.
      • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
      • Full drivers’ licence and access to own car.

        Property Portfolio Manager

        Dublin

        We are seeking an experienced property management professional to manage a high-quality property portfolio in Dublin city centre and suburbs and join our award-winning team. This is a dynamic role and perfect for someone who likes dealing with people and working in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally possess appropriate third level degree and /or professional qualification and have 3+ years relevant experience with relevant PSRA licence.

        Key responsibilities:

        • Conduct interim inspections on managed properties.
        • Work closely with the lettings team.
        • Protect the value of our client’s assets.
        • Coordinate pre-letting works on managed properties.
        • Conduct rent reviews.
        • Instruct, manage, and monitor third party contractors to deliver services required for property maintenance.
        • Work with finance team to minimise rental arrears.
        • Some tenancy administration.
        • Managing move outs.
        • Understand and comply with all the relevant provisions of the PSR Act, current Anti Money Laundering, BER and Data Protection Legislation and any other legislation relevant to a property professional operating in Ireland.

        Ideal candidate will have:

        • In depth knowledge of the Dublin residential market.
        • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

          As we continue to expand our operations, our managing director is seeking personal assistant to provide him in his daily activities. This is a hybrid position based in central Dublin.

          Job description:

          We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a direct personal assistant role.

          The person should present a positive and can-do attitude. They will be fully responsible for supporting our managing director, providing administrative duties whilst managing a high level of daily tasks. This dynamic role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and management of confidential information.

          Key responsibilities include:

          • Diary management.
          • Scheduling appointments and meetings.
          • Overseeing email inbox.
          • Coordinating meetings and events.
          • Assisting in document preparation.
          • Providing general administration support and duties.

          Requirements:
