A quick left turn on the same road and you’re on the way to the Link bridge and Grand Canal Dock. Bayview’s location was always desirable, even when the terrace – originally called Seaview – started
going up in the mid-1800s. The name changed to Bayview around 1840, the terrace kept growing, and by 1865, when there were 14 houses, it had taken on the look it has today.
